best
“Best is fast becoming a local staple, filling out dive bars and music venues across Seattle like Chop Suey, Conor Byrne, Blue Moon Tavern, and past beloved favorites like Waterwheel Lounge (RIP) all while making friends along the way.”
Best's debut EP "Yet" comes out October 30th, with an EP release show November 4th at Chop Suey.
Best is a four-piece alternative rock band with a simple mission:
make great music, have fun, and bring people together.
Drawing inspiration from the infectious melodies and raw energy of 2000s alt-rock—think Weezer, Wheatus, and Death Cab for Cutie—their sound blends nostalgic hooks with an earnest, feel-good vibe.
For Best, it’s never been about chasing fame or fortune; it’s about making good music, connecting with friends, and building a welcoming community one show at a time.
Focus track: Yellowstone (lyrics)
Energetic and introspective
Written while moving across the country, Yellowstone explores the hopeful excitement change brings while also confronting the pain and longing of leaving behind your friends, family and home for new opportunities that never quite goes away. Oh and it’s like really catchy too.
Up tempo and lively
WFH (Working from home) turns the freedom and monotony of remote work into a sing along rock song any one can relate to. Balancing the demands of work, family, friends and maybe some hobbies has never sounded so fun. Plus every song deserves a ripping guitar solo.
